World Steel Association

Although worldstainless operates independently, with its own budget, Board, and governance structure, it is not a separate legal entity. The World Steel Association AISBL provides administrative support to worldstainless, and the two organisations cooperate on several key programmes and initiatives. This collaboration enables worldstainless to draw on worldsteel’s expertise, global network, and resources while retaining full independence in its activities and decision-making.

The World Steel Association (worldsteel) is one of the largest and most dynamic industry associations in the world, with members in every major steel-producing country. worldsteel represents steel producers, national and regional steel industry associations, and steel research institutes. Members represent around 85% of global steel production.
